Rotary Club of Mumbai Aids to De-silt the Jack well:

The big Jack well and a pump house are the only source of drinking water supply to the whole village Sagroli.  The huge well was dug up in the year 1970 by the visionary, Babasaheb Deshmukh for the benefit of 10,000 populations.  Over the decades, the silt and other flora piled up inside the well, rendering its capacity to minimum levels.  In the last month, the Rotary Club of Mumbai (Nanded charter) came forward to help the clean up drive financially.  As a result the well is now cleaned up the meet the demand of grown up population in the village.  The water holding capacity doubled since then.  It was possible only due to the pursuit of SSM.
