“Yoga and Balanced Diet are the key to a Healthy life”, was the keynote made by the renowned Yoga trainer, Shri Ganajan Patil in his address to the students, teacher and the citizens of the local area.

While focusing on the balanced dietary, he suggested a healthy and natural diet chart to maintain an energetic routine with spilling enthusiasm.

During his address to UN General Assembly on September 27, 2014, wherein he stated:

"Yoga is an invaluable gift of India's ancient tradition. This tradition is 5000 years old. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help us deal with climate change. Let us work towards adopting an International Yoga Day."—Narendra Modi, UN General Assembly.

SSM's Chairman Went On Hunger Strike (Fast Unto Death) for the Development of Village:

Since Karmayogi Babasaheb started the mission to uplift the down trodden and the underprivileged , the village witnessed many contributions and sacrifices made by the members of his family for the development of Sagroli. This time, Mr. Pramod Deshmukh decided hunger strike (Fast Unto Death) for the repairing and pavement of the BT road between Sagroli Junction(Karla) to Adampur (22km).The pathetic condition of this road made transportation and commuting a hell for the citizens.
This has in turn stunted the progress of the area. Over the last five decades several representations to the government proved futile. As a last resort, Mr Deshmukh, himself decided to go on hunger strike on 3rd May'15.  65 yrs old Mr. Pramod Deshmukh and few more youth started hunger strike, backed by the   Sarpanch,  Prabhu Muttepod.

Like, better late than never, the government realized the dire situation and sent their representative to assure an immediate redress, by word of mouth. An amount of Rs One crore was sanctioned immediately.
On confirmation of the word in a written statement, the hunger strike was called off.
